Why Ghost Hunters Map exists

Thousands of paranormal research teams operate around the world — in basements, in abandoned asylums, in the countryside at 3am — and almost none of them know each other.

Ghost Hunters Map was built to change that. Not as a social network, not as a commercial directory, but as a simple, honest map: here are the teams, here is where they are, here is what they do.

What we believe

We believe paranormal research deserves to be taken seriously — not sensationalized. The teams on this map are investigators: they bring equipment, methodology, and years of experience to locations that most people wouldn't enter.

We believe the community benefits from visibility. When a team is findable, it can collaborate, recruit, and grow. When it's invisible, it stays small.

What we are not

We are not a media outlet, a production company, or a certification body. We don't rank teams, sell placements, or take commissions. Every team on the map is equal — a pin, a name, a story.

Listing your team is free and will always be free. The map is open to anyone, without registration. We may offer optional visibility features in the future — but your place on the map will never cost anything.
